The Foolproof Technique for Clean & Crisp Stenciling on Furniture

Stenciling is an easy and inexpensive way to add unique patterns and images to your furniture painting project; but, unless you know the correct procedure for stenciling, it can also be a frustrating messy endeavor.  Check out this video tutorial on the foolproof technique for applying a clean and crisp stenciled image to your furniture project without using sticky adhesives on your stencil.

The materials that you will need for this painting technique are:

• A Stencil
• A Flat-top Round Chalk Paint Brush -or- a Stenciling Brush (I prefer 1.5" or 2" brushes for more coverage)
• Chalk Paint or Metallic Paint
• Painter's Tape (A Small Amount to Hold the Stencil in Place)
• Paper Towel Blotter (Folded in a Four Square)
• A Paper Plate or Small Bowl for Your Chalk Paint
